Kerry Morris, CFP ®, EEPC Co-Founder
Kerry has been in the financial industry for more than twelve years, working with hundreds of families. He began his financial career in the insurance industry, where he excelled due to his strong analytic skills and natural teaching ability. Over time, he realized that the best way to help clients is to take on a consultative role - teaching clients about all of their options, rather than specific products in only one financial discipline. Kerry is a Series 65 investment advisory representative, licensed insurance agent, a member of the Society of Certified Senior Advisors, a member of the Financial Planning Association and a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner.
Donald Thomas, EEPC Co-Founder and Retirement Plan Specialist
Prior to co-founding the EEPC, Donald served as regional vice president of a Dallas-based insurance organization, where he was responsible for recruiting agents across three states and training them in life insurance and annuity products – financial instruments typically used in crafting long range financial plans.
In his role as regional vice president, Donald regularly interfaced with senior executives of large insurance companies to learn the inner workings – information “not in the brochure,” as he puts it – of various financial products and how these products could be tailored to better suit clients’ individual needs.
Donald is also affiliated with America’s leading IRA expert, Ed Slott, as a member of Slott’s Elite IRA Advisory Group (www.irahelp.com). Accordingly, he is well versed in the proper formation and use of individual retirement accounts to generate tax efficiencies in financial plans.

Dan Hunt
Redhawk Wealth Advisors
Dan runs Redhawk Wealth Advisors, an SEC Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) firm based in Minneapolis, Minn., providing investment management services to “mass affluent” clients in more than 40 states. The company’s principals have more than 50 years of combined experience in asset management.
Redhawk uses a tactical, rather than strategic, approach to investing, seeking out strong-performing asset classes under a system Redhawk developed called DIAL – Dynamic Investment Allocation Logic. Redhawk’s strength lies in the firm’s intensive daily research and its application in portfolio risk management.
The Redhawk strategy is fourfold: 1) Use exchange-traded funds (ETFs) instead of mutual funds to save money and allow managers to take advantage of market shifts; 2) move assets in and out of the market based on computer-driven models; 3) trade asset classes versus individual securities; and 4) use options to increase returns and limit losses.
